Morning Consult conducted the new survey that looked at the results of the last 100 highest paid celebs in Forbes last year. Brooks scored the highest on the survey, with 64% of the 6,000 respondents rating it favorably, while only 11% rated it as unfavorable.
The poll ranks Bryan with a favorable rating of 58%, against an unfavorable score of 8%, while Chesney gets a 52% approval, against a disapproval rating of 11%.
Morning Consult's research also extends to whether respondents to the survey would be more or less likely to use star-back products included in the survey, as the data are similar. Respondents said they would be 25% more likely and 7% less likely to use Brooks-supported products, 15% no opinion and 53% saying it had no impact.
Twenty-four percent said they were more likely to buy Bryan-supported products, while only 6% were less likely. Fifteen percent did not comment on Bryan as a pitcher and 55 percent said he had no impact, while 19 percent said they would prefer Chesney-backed products, compared to 9 percent who said they were less likely to buy products with which they were associated. Seventeen percent of respondents indicated that they did not have an opinion on Chesney, while 55% said that their approval would not affect their purchasing decisions.
Interestingly, the country's three stars have been among the least-noticed artists, according to Morning Consult's results. While stars such as Beyonce, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and Ellen DeGeneres were among the most controversial celebrities, Brooks, Bryan and Chesney scored significantly better, especially among Republicans. Brooks had a favorability rating of +69, Bryan with a net profit of +61 and Chesney with a score of +56.
